About This Game Atomik: RunGunJumpGun is a tough as nails 2D Action Platformer that puts a teeth-rattling, gravity-defying weapon in your hands. With a cast of crazed characters, simple but beautifully difficult gameplay, and a pulsing musical score, Atomik is a loud, trippy mess of twitchy platforming goodness. The two-button setup is treacherously simple. One button shoots your massive gun downwards, propelling you through the air. The other shoots forward, destroying anything that’s in your path. But there is no stopping in this beautifully surreal world littered with deadly traps and soul-crushing obstacles around every corner. Players will have to constantly alternate between the two firing modes to maneuver through meticulously crafted levels where death is a promise not a possibility. There is only running, gunning, jumping, and gunning, in a mad dash to survive long enough to die again. The game takes place in the Extax System, a solar system where the Sun has begun to swell and devour planets. With most of the planets already devoured, the remaining worlds have descended into madness and superstition. Each denizen has their own theory on why the sun seems so enraged, but they all hang on one central element: Atomiks, the primary resource in the entire system. You play as a scavenger, a rogue from outside the Extax System who seems to have only one goal: get Atomiks. What do the Atomiks mean to the scavenger? Does he want to scoop up precious resources for himself, or use them as a way to appease the sun and end the suffering of the system? Or Maybe they’re just shiny pick-ups in a video game to him.Beautifully Difficult: Every second counts, and the game will test your reflexes to the fullestShield Mode: Empower your intergalactic scavenger with an energy shield and decreases the movement speed to help make the intense action more manageable, but no less heart pounding and exciting.Nonstop Action: Merciful respawns let you die fast and keep you constantly in the actionTwo button gameplay: One button lets you fly, the other blasts obstacles into heaps of rubble.Three Unique Game Worlds: Each world presents its own distinct challenges which require players to change their playstylesOver 120 levels of Mayhem: Each level is meticulously crafted to hone and test the player’s speed and tenacity.Marathon Mode: For players looking to compete for the global high score.Surreal visuals: Trippy and hyper-colourful fantasy-sci-fi art styleHyperkinetic soundtrack: Pulsing musical score blending hip hop, electronic and movie-score vibes.Warped space-opera narrative: The game features a cast of crazed, beautifully illustrated characters.Masochistic Collectables: The quest to collect “Atomiks” littered throughout levels lends an extra level of insanity to already merciless level design. A gift to self-hating completionists.Accessible single-hand gameplay: Appropriate for players with disabilities.Made by free range developers fed a pure mixture of VVVVVV, Hotline Miami, and Super Meat Boy. 7aa9394dea Title: Atomik: RunGunJumpGunGenre: Action, IndieDeveloper:ThirtyThreePublisher:Good Shepherd EntertainmentRelease Date: 31 Aug, 2016 Atomik: RunGunJumpGun Crack And Patch atomik rungunjumpgun switch review. atomik rungunjumpgun apk. atomik rungunjumpgun steam. atomik rungunjumpgun switch. atomik rungunjumpgun metacritic. atomik rungunjumpgun metacritic. atomik rungunjumpgun switch review. atomik rungunjumpgun review. atomik rungunjumpgun steam. atomik rungunjumpgun review. atomik rungunjumpgun ios. atomik rungunjumpgun apk. atomik rungunjumpgun switch. atomik rungunjumpgun gameplay. atomik rungunjumpgun. atomik rungunjumpgun gameplay. atomik rungunjumpgun ios. atomik rungunjumpgun Oozing with style, incredibly simple, unbelievably hard, and super addictive. This is a great little game that I can absolutely recommend to those who enjoy a challenge that will have you dying and retrying levels over and over.. A major issue for these types of twitch-based games is that too much of the game comes down to unfair, pixel-perfect moments.RunGunJumpGun's level design is so strong, and the manuverability of your character so perfectly fine-tuned that this is not an issue! If you die, it was YOUR fault! This game is actually fun to get frustrated at, because nothing is ever unfair. A level may take you 100 attempts, but when you finally succed you'll know it was because mastered the level - not because you got lucky.. This game is like if you were a LSD dealer in the '80s who also owned an Arcade and you put some of your product in a kids drink, and said kid went and played space invaders. This game is what that kid sees during his 'trip' into space.. Hard but gold.. TL;DR, Fun until the game takes a sharp increase in difficulty due to new mechanics with bad controlThe game follows a pretty consistent, and fun experience for the first two worlds.Upon reaching the third world, the game thrusts upon you very poorly-made water physics. Not only is this the most confusing change in mechanics but it also causes several issues that significantly increase the difficulty, first culminating in the 21st level which took me longer than it should have find a way around. Even after beating it, it felt like I had flubbed my way through it instead of finding the route that was intended. The physics and other obstacles line up in such a way that, as far as I can tell, creates a near-impossible section. This water mechanic quickly killed the fun for me, as it posed a cheap and unstable obstacle. There's a lot of edge cases where the player will be shooting the wrong way and it's much more difficult to time your jumping/firing due to the unclarity of where exactly the player flips. Several times, the player character was completely submerged in water, yet bafflingly still shot downward instead up upward.Even after beating that level, the remainder of Section 3 is just ubismal. The level design quality went from "stellar" to "♥♥♥♥♥♥ fan-made levels" immediately. someone should tell the devs that narrow, spiked tunnels do NOT count as level design, it counts as laziness.Advertising the game as a "Tough-as-nails" game is a little disingenuous, as the diffculty is only from poor controls and cheap design on World 3. Leave the difficulty from bad controls to Bennet Foddy. Hell, several times I'd be holding LB and my character would just blindly rub into an obstacle, not shooting, because the game gets REALLY confused if you ever dare to press both bumpers within a second of each otherHonestly, just remove the water and you have a solid, enjoyable game. Or, put some additional effort into making the water physics/controls smoother and more stable. Either way, If you're going to buy this, be prepared to breeze through until World 3, only to come to a screeching halt. This whole thing just feels like wasted talent. The game has good art, (mostly) good music, and good level design for most of the game, but it feels like the devs just phoned it in near the end and thought it would still pass.. Carino porcamadonnino. Incredibly fun and difficult running game, filled with fluorescent flashes, 8bit musical beauty, and endless death. The game boasts 120 levels, however each level only lasts about 10-15 seconds.....if you don't die. Which you will. Thousands of times. Among the three worlds are four separate sections and each introduces new obstacles, mechanics, or combinations of the two. Just getting through all the levels is a task in itself and nearly 7 hours in I'm almost there. But really, the game makes it quite obvious that simple completion is not enough. It demands perfection in the form of collecting all the Atomiks in each level and getting a 100% clear rate. I can't imagine how I'll accomplish this in the World 3 stages, so it looks like this game will be here for the long haul. Take home point: This is the offspring of Canabalt and Super Meat Boy, with all the graphics and music of the former combined with the punishing level design and difficult collectibles of the latter. Pick this up if that appeals to you.. The perfect game to relax on a rainy sunday afternoon with a nice warm cup of tea.I suggest Earl Grey and a couple biscuits.. So have you ever asked yourself what would happen if Super Meat Boy and the guy from Contra (Bill not Lance) were genetically spliced and jettisoned off into space to take part in the most brutal kickass space shooter/platformer to date? Well first I have to say that was an oddly specific question you had there, but then I would tell you question no more my friend because RunGunJumpGun is that oddly tailored to your specificly questioned game that you have been looking for. With tight responsive controlls and a bats**t insane plot, you will find yourself screaming in frustration, and agony when you fail, but also jumping for joy when you finally succeed. Take the dive my friends and pick up this little gem of a game.. not impressed, the music is good, so is the graphics, but the gamplay is way too unforgiving. it's more about grinding a level to infinity untill u slip through than actually feeling skilled I feel.
